Through the Transform Initiative, we are aiming to transform our church, lives, and our city through the construction of a church facility on the property we purchased in the fall of 2022.
TRANSFORMING OUR CHURCH
This new initiative will provide the funding to build a 24/7 operating space for our church to do ministry in our community. We trust that the Lord will provide the resources we need to transform our vacant property into a church campus. This is the place where we will gather to worship, hear God’s word preached, pray, share communion together, fellowship with one another, and exercise the gifts the Spirit has given us. In addition, it will provide space for classrooms to teach & disciple our kids, space to invest in our students, space to host women’s & men’s events, and much more!
TRANSFORMING LIVES
Through these ongoing ministries in the heart of our growing community, we see people coming to faith in Jesus, being baptized, and being folded into the membership of our church body. By the grace of God, we see marriages being reconciled, prodigals returning home, and lives being reformed into the image of Jesus.
How might God transform lives if there were space in our city where…
… people could come when they don’t know where else to go?
… students could gather, invite their friends, and have fun alongside gospel conversations?
… people could pray with and for one another surrounded by God’s creation?
… we could invite people to come, not only on Sundays, but the rest of the week?
TRANSFORMING OUR CITY
This space will grant us the opportunity to do ministry here in Fate and the surrounding areas for years to come. It will allow us to serve as a collection point in our community in times of need & crisis. It will say to the residents of our city that we are serious about ministering here for the long term. It will communicate our love for our city, investment in our city, and commitment to our city. Who knows how God may use the ministry of Redeemer years from now to transform the residents and culture of Rockwall and Hunt counties? Every church currently meeting in their own facility owes its presence to God, to be sure, but also to a generation of members who saw what the future could hold and sacrificially invested in what God was doing in their city.
