The Power of Consistency
Howdy Redeemer Friends!
We are so glad to be writing to you again because Redeemer is near and dear to our hearts. Not only are we a mission partner of Redeemer, but many of you also faithfully walk alongside us in the work of bringing hope to mothers facing an unplanned or unsupported pregnancy. Our Redeemer family is the perfect example of consistency, and that steady presence has made a lasting impact on the women we serve.
One of our moms, V, shared what that consistent support has meant to her:
“One of the things I love most about the people at Selah Creek is that they believed in me—even when I didn’t believe in myself. That kind of love, that kind of support, changes a person. You didn’t just see who I was—you saw who I could become, and you never gave up on that vision.”
Consistency is key to our work at Selah Creek because what we strive for—generational change—takes time.
V perfectly shared how the power of consistent support gave her the stability to grow day by day:
“What made this place so meaningful wasn’t just what people saw on the outside—it was what happened behind the scenes. It was my growth. My development. The quiet, unseen changes happening within me. One day, I learned patience. The next day, I learned discipline. Another day, I learned perseverance. Each day brought something new, something I didn’t even realize I needed, but something that shaped me into who I am becoming.”
For the women in our program, consistency is life-changing. Many of our moms come from seasons marked by instability, uncertainty, and crisis. Dependable support helps replace that uncertainty with the opportunity to focus on healing, parenting, employment, education, and building a new future for their families.

This summer, we are looking for 20 new monthly donors to commit to providing our home with consistent support. One-time gifts make an impact, but monthly gifts create stability. They allow us to confidently provide safe housing, keep utilities running, help cover transportation needs, support access to medical appointments, and ensure moms and babies continue receiving the care and support they need month after month.
